»  Basic image information

Image sizes are as follows: Header-Logo image size is 1008px wide. Maximum gallery image size is 950px wide. All other images automatically resize to 192px wide. Images can have any height. Thumbnails are re-sized automatically. The only file types allowed are .jpg, .gif, .bmp, .png, .JPG, .GIF, .BMP, .PNG When deleting and image from the server you must remove the image info from the gallery as well. This action will delete the file from the server only. Be sure that you have removed the gallery image info first. You will have a blank space in your gallery thumbs otherwise. Avoid using spaces and other characters (&, ", >, <, *, [, {, ], }, #, ~, !, $, |, ^, or upper ASCII characters in your image file names. -- Image file names will be modified to a server friendly format on upload. Dashes will replace spaces and the above described characters will be removed.

»  Remove an image from the gallery

1. Choose Images from the admin menu.
2. Select Remove Gallery Image.
3. In the remove image section select the image you wish to delete and click the delete button. This will remove the image from the gallery but not the server.

To delete image files from the server: ( Be sure to remove the images from galleries or web pages before deleting them from the server). 1. Choose Gallery from the admin menu. 2. Select Delete Image Files From Server . 3. Select an image category. 4. Select an image to delete. 5. Click the Delete button.

»  Add images to galleries

1. Choose Images from the admin menu.
2. Select Add Gallery Image.
2  First, upload your image using the Show/Hide image upload panel. (top of page)
3. Select a gallery to display the image in.
4. Name the image.
5. Fill in the information you wish to display.
6. Click the Add image to gallery button.

»  Add a page to the website

1. Choose Add from the admin menu,
2. Select Page
3. Add the 'Page heading name' as it will appear near the top of each the web page.
4. Enter a filename for the page into the 'Page Name' input box. Use whatever name you like but spaces and special characters are not allowed in your filenames.
5. Add the "Page menu name" as it will appear in the navigation bars.
6. Click the "check this box to activate page for display" checkbox.
7. Click the Add Page button.
8. Reload the page to see your new menu item in the top and bottom navigation bars.

»  Edit Gallery Pages

A. You can approve their galleries for display and change the page/menu names under the Pages menu.

B. To edit galleries.
1. Choose Images from the admin menu.
2. Select Edit Gallery
3. Select the image you wish to edit.
4. Make Necessary changes
5. Click Confirm Changes

»  I can't upload to my gallery image folders

A. Image folders must be set to 777
To make sure that the imgs folder's permissions are set to 777.
1. Go to your hosting control panel file manager
2. Select the imgs folder.
3. Change (chmod) the permissions for the imgs folder to 777.

B. The file extension you are trying to upload must be one of the following.
.jpg, .gif, .bmp, .png., JPG, .GIF, .PNG, .BMP.

»  Remove install directory from server

A. Use your FTP Client
Navigate to ' /install' and delete the directory named "install" along with all of it's contents.

OR

B. Use your hosting company's file manger
Delete the directory named "install" and all of it's contents.

»  Change database connection information

To change username, password, database name or hostname.

1. Use your FTP Client or Host control panel.
2. Open the file 'include/conn.php'.
2. Change database information.
3. Upload changed file.

»  Themes and Stylesheets

1. To change your website theme to one of the included theme packages, under the Admin menu locate Site Update
2. Use the theme selector to choose your theme.
3. Click the "Update Site" button.

Advanced Users:

1. To change the style sheet that controls the color of your site find the css/as-theme-custom.css and apply changes to the color information contained in that one page.
2. Select 'Custom' in the theme dropdown menu contained in the Update Site Info page.

!! Proceed with caution in making changes to other dimensionally or structure related selectors as the site has been set up to support ie7,ie8 , FF2, FF3, Opera and Safari browsers, as well as Mac, Windows and Linux operating systems.

»  INSTALL discographyPro

To install
1. Use your FTP Client or hosting company's control panel to upload discographyPro files to your host server and domain name.
2. Go to your hosting company's control panel.
3. Navigate to the database management section and create a MYSQL database.
4. You will be given the database name, username, password and database url.  Enter this information into the form provided by discographyPro when prompted.
    a. This information is provided to you by the host on successful creation of your database.
    b. (The discographyPro installation process will create the necessary tables and information needed for the website to function).
5. Navigate your browser to www.yourdomain.com/install/index.php
6.  Follow the instructions on the install page and click continue.
7. Enter your website information into the form provided by discographyPro.
8. When finished click the submit button.
9. Remove the install folder from the server and you are done. (See "remove install folder")

»  Show items in the portfolio page

Approve items for the website's portfolio page by checking the "Approve for website" checkbox in the appropriate "Add" or "Edit" page.

4. Enter the Answer
5. Click Add FAQ button

»  Edit Client Support

1. Choose Edit from admin menu.

3. Select the Client Support Topic you wish to edit.

»  Edit Admin Support

1. Choose Edit from admin menu.
2. Select AdminSupport.
3. Select the Admin Support Topic you wish to edit.

»  Edit Video

1. Choose Edit from admin menu.
2. Select Video.
3. Select the Video you wish to edit.
4. Make changes.
5. Click Confirm Changes button.

»  Delete content/pages

To delete content and pages, either navigate to the respective Edit pages and delete. 

OR

1. Choose Delete from the admin menu.
2. Select All Categories.
3. Choose the category to delete.
4. Choose the item to delete.
5. Click the Delete button.
6. Page will automatically reload and your item will have been deleted.

»  Delete audio/playlist items

To delete content and pages, either navigate to the respective Edit pages and delete. 

OR

1. Choose Audio from the admin menu.
2. Select Manage Files/Playlist.
3. Choose the audio file to delete or choose the Playlist item to delete.
4. Click the Delete button.

»  Upload images to server

To upload images that will be used in the galleries or web pages. 

1. Choose Edit or Add from the admin menu.
2. Select applicable category.
3. On the top of each page is the Upload Image Panel.
4. Click the Show/Hide upload image panel.
5. Page will automatically reload making the image available in the image dropdown menus.

* This will upload the image into the proper directories.

»  Upload audio to server

1. Choose Audio from the admin menu.
2. Select Manage Files/Playlists.
3. Using the Upload Audio File to Server/Playlist Panel. (top of page).
4. Choose to allow audio track to be added to playlist.
5. Give the audio file a title.
6. Page will automatically reload making the image available in the image selection dropdown menus.

»  Playlist order

1. Choose Audio from admin menu.
2. Select Manage Files/Playlist.
3. Insert playlist order into the form provided.

»  Manage Contacts

Contacts are added when a user submits the contact form or an admin user uses the Manage Contacts page to add a contact.

1. Choose Admin from the admin menu.
2. Select Manage Contacts.
3. Edit/update, add or delete contacts.

»  Remove images from a web page

1. Choose Edit from the admin menu.
2. Select the section you wish to remove the image from.
3. In the image select dropdowns, select the image you wish to remove and select Show no image.
4. Click Confirm Changes button

This will remove the image from the selected page only.
